1915 - 1992
M.A. “Ab” Priest founded Priest Realty in 1952 after serving as the lead salesperson for local developers of new subdivisions in the Sacramento area. The first Priest Realty office was in East Sacramento across the street from McKinley Park at Alhambra and H Street. Over the years other real estate companies opened then closed offices, but Priest Realty continued a steady business from loyal customers represented by Ab Priest in the purchase or sale of property. He was one of the first brokers in the Sacramento area to participate in 1031 Exchanges, and was active in the listing and sale of motels, mobilehome parks, ranches, and other investment properties.
